Maria
Hunter, Assistant
Manager |
 |
In 1995,
Maria started off by helping run production and assisted
in the administration department at Solid Industries. She
worked part-time while attending school full time at SAIT.
Maria graduated from Engineering Design and Drafting Technology
in 2000. For a couple of years she worked for a company
where she gained experience as a rigging designer. As Solid
Industries grew, it was evident that the company needed
an assistant manager. She came back on board in 2002 and
helps in manufacturing and administration/financial areas
of the company. For fun, she organizes charitable events
for Solid Industries, e.g.: Canadian Cancer Society (Head/Sing
for a Cure)

as a sponsor and donator. We recently donated to the Thunder Thy’s,
a cycling team participating in a bike tour. Through this, Solid
Industries donated to the Alberta Cancer Society. We continue
to volunteer and sponsor to various charities in our community.
